Jazz venue renamed the Vivint Smart Home Arena

EnergySolutions Arena, home of the Utah Jazz and formerly the Delta Center, has once again been renamed.

Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment announced today in a press release a 10-year partnership with Vivint, including rights to name the Utah Jazz’s playing arena. It will now be named the Vivint Smart Home Arena, effective immediately.

Vivint is a Provo-based company specializing in home security through technology. Customers can make their home a “smart home” by monitoring features such as the temperature, door locks, lights, a doorbell camera, and outdoor camera through their smart devices.

“The Utah Jazz and the arena are proud to have Vivint as our new naming rights partner,” Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment President Steve Starks said in a press release. “Vivint is a long-time supporter of the Jazz, is a Utah-based company, and has a deep commitment to the community and our fans. These were all qualities we looked for when we began this process. ”

Vivint logos will be visible on the outside of the building as well as panels below the central scoreboard, digital signs throughout the facility and on the court itself.

The transformation of the building inside and out is expected to continue through 2015. It will host the Garth Brooks World Tour Oct. 29-31 and the Jazz’s home opener on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

EnergySolutions will continue to support the Utah Jazz as a Champion Partner.
